This handmade metal tray has lived many past lives -- what adventures in the desert of Jordan, we can only speculate.
Hand-forged in Jordan, the hammer marks of the blacksmith give this surprisingly-heavy tray gravitas and mystery.
Made for the nomadic bedouin life, the base is made for transportation, folding like an accordion. Its hand-carved wooden legs are full of intricate detail: inlaid with mother-of-pearl, and carved with perfect geometry.
What life this vintage tray may have had, we cannot know. We can only imagine.
